A contemporary Japanese/American printmaker, Simon Tashimoto graduated from Tokyo University in 1967 with a degree in Fine Arts. Shortly thereafter he concentrated upon abstract serigraph techniques at the school of Nomeguchi. Simon Tashimoto moved to New York City in the early 1970's and has exhibited his art at various galleries both in New York and elsewhere.
